Jackrabbit Music: Frequently Asked Questions

Jackrabbit Music is a web-based application that you can use Mac or PC computers to access. No download or disks are necessary to get started. And you don’t need to install any software on your computer. The only thing you need to get started is a high-speed Internet connection and your User ID and Password.
It’s easy to start using Jackrabbit Music. You can get up and running very quickly. Our Setup Guide, Help Center and videos add speed to the getting started process. We connect you with a specially trained Coach to assist you with those first steps on the path to success.

Our Imports team is available to help if you need to import data into Jackrabbit from other systems. Our Web Integration team can help you to get Jackrabbit Music integrated with on your existing website, so students can register for private lessons or classes easily. If you want to set up Jackrabbit Music quickly, you and your music school can be fully operational in roughly 14 business days.

A website allows students and parents to access your lesson and class listings, web registration form and customer portal. You can find more info about online registration at our Help Site. If you’re connecting your music school to students through Facebook but you don’t have a website, you can integrate online registration into your Facebook page. It is not necessary to have a website if you want to use Jackrabbit Music management and accounting tools for your music school.

We calculate your fees for using Jackrabbit Music based on how many active and inactive students are in your database. Billing happens every month. At each month’s end, we add up the number of students who are in your system. We then bill you for that total number on the next first business day of the month.

We do not charge based on how many leads are in your system. The Unlimited Lead File allows you to keep basic contact information for students and parents with no impact to your subscription fee.

Our goal is that Jackrabbit Music helps you and your music school to succeed. During the initial 60 days of your enrollment, you will get started with a specially trained Jumpstart Coach who we will assign to you. We maintain the industry’s top Support team, and they are available to help when you have questions. They, in turn, are supported by a comprehensive Help Center that has instructions and tutorial videos that are easy to follow.
